Around the year 1800, British inventor Thomas Wedgwood made the first known attempt to capture the image in a camera obscura by means of a light-sensitive substance. He used paper or white leather treated with silver nitrate . Although he succeeded in capturing the shadows of objects placed on the surface in direct sunlight, and even made shadow copies of paintings on glass, it was reported in 1802 that “the images formed by means of a camera obscura have been found too faint to produce, in any moderate time, an effect upon the nitrate of silver.” The shadow images eventually darkened all over.

The first permanent photoetching was an image produced in 1822 by the French inventor Nicéphore Niépce, but it was destroyed in a later attempt to make prints from it.Niépce was successful again in 1825. This is my reply. I placed it in the middle of this pasted, unrelated text just to show how annoying it is to have to look at a bunch of nonsense just to see what I’m trying to share with you. Smart phones are cameras when you turn on the camera. They stop becoming a phone when you turn on the camera app that is why they call it a camera app. There is nothing wrong with portrait photos, but not if what you are trying to capture is squeezed into 1/8th of the frame. Pay attention to what you are trying to capture and frame it up, or crop your shit if you are too lazy or rushed to turn it the right way. All phones have the capability to crop.
